A graduate of Calvin College with a business and engineering degree, John started his career in 1994 helping clients finance homes, and in 2005 became a realtor in addition to being a mortgage lender.

John founded Homes and Loans of West MI LLC in 2005 and has been helping people find and finance their homes since. With John, you get professional guidance and advice from someone who has been around the block (literally!) a time or two. He has the experience and tools to help you with all your residential real estate needs.

His passion is helping first time home-buyers find the right house, and the best mortgage for them.
​
When not helping others with real estate and mortgage needs, John spends time with his wife of 25 years and kids, and works as youth program director of Hudsonville Lacrosse, which he founded in 2011.
